Turning that option down one prevents the crash. People were crashing at several specific places (Shenk death) with an RTX card and having the lighting turned to the max option. This is happening for many many users and from research I have done it seems like it might be related to RTX graphics cards. Might cut my losses and look at playing something else. Now sinc the last update it has started up again. Then an update was released and the crashing stopped completely.
The game was crashing like this on release to desktop with a message window asking me to send the error to Blizzard. I have not changed anything on my computer or changed drivers etc. Ever since the last update it seems, this game just crashes all the time, I can play it for maybe 30 minutes before it crashes to desktop, no error, nothing.
